Tillbaka i Frankrike!!! Vad är fortare, Tåg eller Bus + Flygplan??

Finally, I came back on France last thursday. Last days in Kalmar were both quiet and busy. Indeed, there was the project to advance, good bye parties, and of course my return to prepare.

So, about my return, what is interesting to guess is which way is the faster, Train or Bus + Plane??
When I came to Sweden, in the middle of August, the way was about 19h30-20h if I remind well.
For this one, I can decompose it in such way:
Departure from Kalmar: 17/12: 16h30
Nyköping in the airport: 21h30-> 6h50, long time to spend in the airport, I managed to watch 2 films with my notebook, not bad, otherwise I guess it would have been difficult to see the time spending....so I watch Ocean's Twelve and Masters and Commander, the first time I watched them.
I continue:
6h50->9h05: Flight to arrive in Paris-Beauvais Airport
9h05-> 10h45: bus from Airport to Porte Maillot, Paris
10h45-> 11h10: Looking for the Bus stop for taking "PC1"... I rediscovered Paris moreover, so many cars, people...it's not Kalmar anymore lol.
11h10 ->11h30: PC1 and walk and Home Sweet Home.....
So, for going back to France with Bus + Planes, it was only...19h, not bad, less that 1h faster than Trains...I'll remind for next time.
As for my return to Kalmar, I haven't decided yet, but I think about the 6th January, either by Ryanair still....either earlier, but by trains this time, I'll decide soon I think...it would be better :)

Now, the French Life is back, for about 2 weeks...

Here is a scene I liked a lot in Ocean's Twelve...song and scene :)

Julmåltid och pepparkakshus!!!

Last wednesday (I know, almost 1 week ago, but my bad habits start to come back :s ), we had a Christmas dinner with my Korridor neighbours, it's a little early, but one of them had to leave the day after, that's why this early date. For this dinner, I was supposed to prepare something, and I finally cooked some Chokladbollar (Chocolate balls). I was helped by my roomate for making them, but I nevertheless was rather proud of me for the result, coz it was good, the taste was the same as the ones in supermarket, the reference lol.
The others made some others meals, and everything was good, I ate well :P

If someone wanted to try to make this famous dessert, here is the recipe:

Det här behövs för ca 20 st:
  • 100 g margarin
  • 1 dl socker (sugar)
  • 3 dl havregryn (flocon d'avoine)
  • 2 msk kakao
  • 1 tsk vanillinsocker
  • 2 msk kokt kallt kaffe (eller mjölk)

Gör så här:
  • 1. Du häller i alla ingredienserna i en skål.

On this pic, we can see my neighbours who took part to the dinner:
Lucie (Fr), Max, Alina (Ltv), Me, Elias (Lib) and his gf Evelina (Sw), Marie and Gunnar, my roomate...(Sw), only Yves (Lib) misses on the pic, but we needed somebody for the picture of course.

And here, can we see my talents for cooking:

Saturday and sunday, I tried this time to build the famous "pepperkakshus", so a house made with pepperkaka, kind of swedish biscuit. Saturday, I made it with Marie and two of her friends, Sara and Annika, and to be honnest, the result was... very bad. Simply in the end, there wasn't any house, as everything was destroyed. However, it was funny, everybody worked hard, but without any result. Sunday, as i really wanted to build this famous house, I retried with Marie, the result is quite better, as there is finally a real house, although for her part, Marie find this house not so perfect as I think :/ Anyway, it's only a question of tastes. :P

Some news about my come back in France:
I'll take the bus the 17th at 16.30, for Nyköping, then I'll take the fligh in tuesday morning, at 6.50. So I'll be in Paris (rather Beauvais as I travel with Ryanair) the 18th December, at 9.05

The genius is soon back at home ;)

Now, the week won' t be very interesting I guess, it will be work...and work for the project...it won't be finished in time, I'll probably have still to work on it in January.... :/

Plugga och fest, som vanligt...

So, not many things for summering up the last week...I continued to work for the project, very unefficient work in fact with my binome Sirlan, brazilian boy. As usual, for procrastinator(S? ) the task required will be donne tomorrow morning...or even this night if I manage to do it...motivation must come, it would be better... so saturday, there was a rather good party, "Tropical Party" with most of exchange student, as it is one of the last time where "everybody" could be gathered for a party...after it, for not changing, I went to Corehouse, then home, of course.

Here is Maria, who comes from Russia and who is pretty lol, she "organised" this party.

On this picture, we can recognize Marika from Italia, me and Tanya from England.

On this last pic, there is the famous group (Sirlan and me at library)...who doesn't work at all, but who everytimes finishes in the right time:

Många fester, en ishockeymatch...och en film!

So, the last week was rather active, it changes with some other weeks where I didn't do many things. I went almost all the mornings to library for working, even if it wasn't really efficient in fact. The afternoon, it was rather the contrary, daily rutin (routine) with not many things to do.
As for the week end, it changed a lot, I went out friday evening with Yves, one of my Korridor roomate, the saturday night again...pre-party at Anna with some other friends of her, then again...Palace, one of the night club of Kalmar.

As for Sunday, I took part for the first time to a Ice-Hockey match...this sport is not very popular in France, it's impossible to watch any match at TV for example, and "in live" in the ice rink, in some cities only, even in Paris, I have never been really sure if there is one or not. 7 years ago, I rimind I did skating in Paris on a outside ice rink made especially for the winter, in the City-Hall place (place de l'hôtel de Ville), but otherwise, I have never tester indoor in Paris. For this match, i was with my two Korridor roomates Gunnar and Alina (Swede and Latvian)...it was rather nice, especially coz Kalmar won 4-2. I dunno exactly in what division are these two teams in fact (Kalmar and Skillingaryds IS), but it was a good match.

After this famous match, we watched another film in the Living Room with the Video Projector
of Gunnar, it was "Superbad".... a rather stupid comedy in fact, but which made us laughed, surely the most important.

Here is a pic of my "famous" roomate Marie whom i told about her sometimes already in previous topics...

So, 2 days ago, i got to know my results of my exam "International Business Studies"...and finally, I pass it :) It wasn't so obvious according I didn't work so much, but I did the minimum and it was enough. Today, we were given back the exam, so I got D, which means I got 65% of the points so (13/20 for France), which is not bad, rather the contrary. Moreover, it was funny to know that I got the maximum points of questions where we had to learn by heart, me who hates doing this...but I had nevertheless to take time for this, coz some questions were only by heart.
So, now i have exactly 22,5 credits, (15 for IBS + 7,5 Swedish). I need 60 for passing this year, hope I'll got them.
Otherwise, what can I retain of this exam... it was still very difficult to start the revisions (working simply would be the right word lol)...I started to work obviously too late, the last week, and especially the 2 last days...I still didn't work enough....BUT I nevertheless managed to pass it, which is the most important. The fact that I don't have to take the re-exam doesn't motivate me for changing my method, way of work, the procrastinator one is still here...however, I'll have to change for sure, it doesn't mean it would work everytimes.
We were supposed to read 3 book during this course, the first one I didn't read it at all, but apparently we didn't need this for making the project about international companies (I made this one with two spanish about "Carrefour"). The other book were supposed to be read for learning about political system in Baltic countries....finally, I learnt power point which were sent, and it was enough....and for the third book, I read the usefull chapters, simply the ones we had to read, but finally, it didn't bring me so many points... so almost useless too :/ It's a good point to know that the book are not so indispensable that we could think, and as they are very expensive (about 110€ for only these 3 books...much more expensive that in France :s ). The next time, I'll think about two times before buying a book for course.

Now, I'll deal with the evening...so after I got to know that I passed, I was rather happy, which is rare in my daily life, as I'm rather "normal, serious" (people often say this about me). In the evening i went to a pub watching the qualification football match "Sweden-Latvia" with Freddy, italian boy, for the European Championship 2008. Finally Sweden won 2-1 although it was difficult, even if they were favorit. But it was a good match, and in the end, everyobody was happy of course. As for France, we are also qualified...but England, no lol ^^.
After football match, I finished the evening in a "pizza- party" or simply pre-party....then I went back home directly, I didn't continue the party in disco and others, I was a little tired :)

Now, my future plans are simple, working on Individual Research Project (IRP)about Volvo company...I had to do it, and especially planning the Christmas Holidays, until next course which begins in the 21th January about. If I manage to finish IRP in the right time with my brasilian binome, we should have about 1 month holidays, so enough to travel a little why not, which would not bad.

Last thing to add: I got "Shark level" In Facebook Poker...so 5 stars....not bad, I became simply a Poker Killer :D

mardi 20 novembre 2007

Plugga, plugga...och Sauna.

Last week was the real beginning of the Project I'm working on. For last thursday, we had to make a presentation about Environmental Innovation, power point presentation. As usual, it was done in the last moment, so especially wednesday.
In the evening, I went to a pre-party (förfesten) where I managed to speak a little Swedish, it's good for me, but still not enough, coz the main time, I spoke English, even if there was only swedes there :/ As you are foreigner, there are always used to speak english with you, as it is easier for both, but sometimes they make exceptions with me and try to speak swedish with me, for helping me, even if it's not always easy. After this pre-party, we went to "Fula Fiska", a night club in Kalmar where I had never been. It was rather nice, the entrance was free moreover. After it, I came home directly, no "after-party", coz I needed to sleep a little before the day after, where we had the presentation. Finally the presentation was quiet well done, even if we didn't get any grade.

The next work we got to make, for Tuesday (today lol) was rather long and boring...introduction of our project, so it is for mine "Environmental Innovations (the thema was given in fact, not really "free") for Volvo company (I do this "Individual Research Project" with a Brasilian boy in fact, Silan). We still haven't finished, that's why we need to be at library at 8 today...yesterday we spent almost all the day there, from 8h30 to 20...so long :(

Anyway, for my week end, as usual, it was rather quiet, nothing special, I sleep especially. However, saturday was a little special as I went to a Sauna, then which is not common, take a "swim" in a Lake or See (never know exactly what is it lol) in this cold weather (Finnish-Swedish tradition the call it). In fact, it wasn't too cold in this water after the Sauna, except for the feet which were completely frozen as soon as they were in the water....that's why I didn't stay so long inside water, but have nevertheless been 3 times there :)

For my Sunday, nothing special to say, I spent it at home, it was quiet lazy :P
Bad news for the Snow-fan, there is no snow any longer since this sunday, it has suddenly disappeared, it would have lasted almost one week. I expect the future back my Snow I love :)

It was yesterday and it made me very pleasure. Not easy to use bike with the snow, and especially to slow down coz it didn't work...but it was funny nevertheless.

lundi 12 novembre 2007

For those who don't understand swedish:
Finally, yesterday,I saw my first snow since I've arrived in Sweden. It was not bad, I waited for this snow a long, and I hopas it will snow a new time soon.
In France, it snows of course, even in Paris, but it is rather rare. Here in Swden, it snows much more often. I dunno if it is the same for Kalmoar, but I hope, coz Sweden without snow, it isn't Swden for me. Moreover, I had to buy gloves yesterday too, it was really too cold for my hands. I hope it will continue like this, and it will snow especially...still and still...

Lazer Game

With my new course, I don't have many lectures, so I have time to do many others things...(in addition of working of course). So wednesday, I tested Lazer Game, for the first time. It was rather nice, and very exhausting, even if it was only 20mn. Obviously, my team didn't have any strategic and we lost, it was more like Rambo and going straight on rather than thinking and defending the base , but it was fun. My final score is 45 hits, against 58 towards me... so, really not very good, but it was a good experience.

Here is the "bulletproof vest" (Gilet pare-balles literraly, but I didn't find better word), and the Gun you need to wear during the game.

mercredi 7 novembre 2007

A long day and a birthday :)

After having gone to bed rather late coz of poker...(difficult to stop when we are winning :P ), I finally got up at about 10h30. I didn't have any lesson in the morning, but I had the first course of Individual Research Project, and especially, a little presentation about my school and France generally, for helping swedes who have the wish to study abroad. So, after having found some pictures (Tour Eiffel, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame...Mémorial de Caen nevertheless), I went to school...and I arrived finally at time :P So, first course of IRP rather quiet, even if we were given a task, the presentation of school and country, were.....hum, enough boring, but a little interesting finally, maybe coz we could eat as much as we want....lol. What is sure is Swede are not very interesting to study in France, the fact that knowing french is very usefull, even indispensable doesn't encourage them to study here. It's clear than USA, Australia or even England are much more interesting, just for the language for exemple. However, i'm sure to meet again some Swedes in my school next year. After this long day, I finally went back home for having a rest, I don't have any lesson before one week.

When i went to bed saturday night, it was rather late...I had played for a long poker online with a friend. About my plans for sunday, there wasn't really one. Finally, i stayed online, slept, then met my "korridor-mates". We decided to watch movies on the "kitchen-living room" on large screen, as my roomate have a video-projector. Before this, I helped Marie to cook a cake "Kladdkaka", then we watched films, Fido, an "horror-comedie" movie, then Harry Potter, the last one...not bad I hadn't watched it yet ^^

Before sleeping, i watched another film in my room...The Terminal with Tom Hanks, released in cinema 3 years ago...Many many films so.

Today, no lesson, just waiting for the new lesson, "individual research project" which begins tomorrow.

International Business Studies Exam

It was yesterday, and was more difficult than I expected...I really hope to pass it and not to have to make another one in December :/
Anyway, it was funny to see the differences with french exams here. We are given bananas during the exam, what is never the case in France...just the fact to think we could be given anything in France is a dream :P The other difference is this is more difficult here to pass it. In France, we need the average to pass it so, 10/20 at least, here is 60% of the point, so it would be 12/20 for french system, which is completely different... The third difference is that it's much more easier to get a break outside from the exam's room, for smoking, going to toilet or whatever else than in France...just leave your place, write the time you left and went back to room. In France, we must ask for being allowed to leave the exam's room, and it is not everytimes accorded.

(we can see the famous banana's box on the table close to the "black board")

Some news about me

About 2 weeks i didn't update the blog...indeed, i don't do anything special...i read books for exam which take place friday, I go to the cinema in Corehouse watching some films, go to parties and pool too, when I have the time.

Today, I have just watched a chinese film moreover, which I really found not bad, the title is "Curse of the Golden Flower", (La cité Interdite pour le titre français ) and here are the trailer of the movie and the display:

Description:
Norden Machinery AB is the world’s leading manufacturer of tube filling and tube handling machinery. We are a medium sized company operating globally but maintaining close relations with our customers. Every year we supply 150 tube filling systems to every corner of the world.

Vem behöver en cykel i Sverige??
